HYNCA Seeking Candidates for Board of Directors
It that time of year again when we seek board members for the Historic Ybor Neighborhood Civic Association. The term will be from June 1, 2010 through May 30, 2011.
A total of nine (9) board members will be elected/re-elected by HYNCA members at our Thursday, May 27, 2010 General Meeting. HYNCA board members will then choose a President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer.
As a HYNCA board member you will have an opportunity to be intimately involved with the redevelopment of Ybor City and have your say on issues related to our neighborhood. You will represent the interests of HYNCA and the residents of Ybor City when needed (at City Council meetings, CRA meetings, YCDC meetings, through letters to elected officials, interviews with media, etc.). You will also have an opportunity to help plan special events throughout the year.
