HYNCA Historic Ybor Neighborhood Civic Association

The YCDC now offers FREE help to start a businesses or assist and improve your existing business.  This program is open to ALL residents and businesses in Ybor City (CRA 1 & 2).  We hope this initiative will strengthen and build the business community in Ybor City.  This assistance is FREE of charge and paid for by YOUR tax dollars.  All information is confidential.  HYNCA encourages you to use the program if you’re interested in starting a business or looking to improve or expand your existing business.

The City of Tampa Ybor City Development Corporation in conjunction with the Hillsborough County Small Business Information Center (SBIC) have partnered to establish a Business Technical Assistance Program to provide FREE Resources and FREE one-on-one counseling to the Ybor City Business Community.  Counseling may include business plan assistance, enterprise zone incentives, marketing ideas, business disaster preparation as well as basic business start-up information for potential businesses who may want to start in the Ybor Area.

In order to make it convenient and since so many businesses are owned and operated by the same individual, Counselors will be glad to provide counseling at the owner’s place of business.
